Sip, Stroll and Explore: Colourful Front Street Invites the Community to Discover Penticton’s Historic Arts and Culture District
An evening of local flavours, vibrant storefronts and community celebration is coming to one of Penticton’s most beloved streets.
Businesses within the Colourful Front Street neighbourhood are inviting residents and visitors to experience Pour & Explore, a new tasting and shopping event taking place Thursday, June 25 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Presented by local Colourful Front Street businesses and supported by the Downtown Penticton BIA, the event transforms the historic street into a walkable celebration of independent businesses, regional beverages and creative experiences.
For one evening, a portion of Front Street, between Veterans Way and Backstreet Boluvard will be closed to vehicle traffic, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests to sip, stroll and discover everything that makes the neighbourhood unique. Visitors can browse boutiques, galleries, home décor shops, floral studios, wellness businesses and specialty retailers while sampling wines, craft beer and non-alcoholic beverages from some of the South Okanagan’s favourite producers.

Additional tastings and activations will be featured throughout the evening, including offerings from The Vault at Still Food Bistro’s upper patio.
Guests can also enjoy live music, enter to win prizes collected from participating businesses, and vote for their favourite storefront as part of a community Window Display Competition.
Colourful Front Street is one of Penticton’s oldest commercial corridors and has evolved into a vibrant destination where history, arts, food and culture intersect. Home to destinations such as The Dream, unique boutiques, galleries, restaurants and curated local shops, the neighbourhood continues to grow as a place for residents and visitors to connect, shop and experience downtown in a new way.
Admission to Pour & Explore is free. Tastings, shopping experiences and activities will take place throughout the activation area from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 25.
