Help shape the future of downtown Penticton
The City of Penticton’s Downtown Plan engagement is officially underway, and we are so excited for this opportunity to shape our downtown! Please take the time to complete the Downtown Plan survey and have your say.
The new plan will establish a long-term vision for downtown and help guide future growth, investment and improvement projects.
This is our opportunity to provide meaningful feedback on what Downtown Penticton needs and what we want it to become. The feedback gathered through this process will help inform the priorities and future direction for our downtown.
We also strongly encourage you to share the survey with your staff, customers, friends and family. We want to hear from the broader community too — the people who live, work, shop, dine, visit and spend time downtown. The more participation we have, the better understanding we will have of what our community values, where improvements are needed and what people want to see prioritized moving forward.
How can I participate?
Community engagement will take place in multiple phases throughout the development of the Downtown Plan. Based on feedback received, we will scope future rounds of engagement to further explore key focus areas, which could include topics like land use, public spaces, infrastructure, parking and community safety.
