Downtown Revitalization – 04.24.14 Update

The main task for this week is hooking up exisiting water lines to the new water main on Martin Street. Grizzly has been able to prep the sight and the transfer will disrupt each business water service for about 15 minutes. Further, individual business scheduling preferences will be accommodated. I've attached some photos of the prep work. The 'water main' portion of the project should be completed by Friday.

Temporary Road Closure – April 16, 2014

The 200 Block of Martin Street will be closed Wednesday, April 16th from 7:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to the Downtown Penticton Revitalization project. Although Bus Stops #2 and #5 will be detoured; bus stops will NOT be affected. Safe pedestrian access will always be available during construction and businesses will continue with their regular hours.

Temporary Road Closure – April 15, 2014

Due to the ongoing Downtown Penticton Revitalization Project, the 200 Block of Martin Street including the north side of the Nanaimo Avenue West intersection will be closed on Tuesday, April 15 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Westbound traffic on Nanaimo Avenue will have to detour onto the 300 Block of Martin Street.
