SECTION 4 - Security Camera Registry

There is growing interest across BC business communities for BIAs to keep a voluntary registry of security cameras operating within their members' businesses. The goal of the registry is to assist law enforcement with quickly identifying locations where video assets may be available to assist with investigations. Registering as a business with security cameras does not automatically grant anyone access to the data. Police and/or bylaw officers would need to make a formal request to your business to obtain any data.
