COMMUNITY
Organizations such as the South Okanagan Women In Need Society (SOWINS), the South Okanagan Immigrant and Community Services (SOICS), Activate Penticton, and Elk’s Lodge, fill gaps in services that are not provided by government agencies or private companies. These organizations provide help with everything from supporting individuals in their recovery from the impact of violence and abuse to creating opportunities for outdoor recreation.
Downtown Penticton’s non-profit organizations and support services are run by people who are passionate about making a difference in our community. Through dedication and hard work, these non-profits and support services help ensure that everyone in the community has access to the resources and support they need.
