Aidan and Mandy
July 13

Similar but different. Powerful and soft, edgy and smooth, poignant and lyrical, passionate and soothing. Aidan Mayes and Mandy Cole combine these seemingly opposite elements with deft simplicity. Smooth harmonies, heartfelt lyrics, and playful guitar are the main ingredients that make up this grounded, inspiring, and talented duo. A little bit country, a little bit folk, a little bit rock and roll, and a little bit different from everything else in the world.

Ari Neufeld
July 20

Ari Neufeld is a self-made one man band, hailing most recently from the Okanagan. He plays guitar, piano, banjo (but usually guitar), while singing and keeping time through an amplified stompbox, with ethnic beads, nuts and bells strapped to his body. His performance covers a variety of genres from folk to pop, to new country, to rhythmic soul, to rock.

Pernell Reichert
July 27

Originally from the Vancouver area, Pernell Reichert fine-tuned his entertaining skills playing in tree-planting camps, pubs, cafes and festivals across Canada. His genre of razor-sharp folk, alt-country and self-penned soulful ballads, along with his high energy, fast finger-picking numbers on the guitar, banjo or electric slide and complimented by his skill on the harmonica will captivate you. An avid reader, he is conversant on history and the world around him which comes out through his witty banter with audiences, making for a well-rounded evening of entertainment.

Joshua Smith and The Brown Blazer Band

What one could suggest as being a Soul-inspired, captivating experience, Joshua is a singer/songwriter who mingles catchy clever lines and infectious vocals in the company of playful story telling. With a nod to “Motown”, Joshua Smith captures tradition and folk-friendly modernism with his songwriting prowess.

Brent Tyler
August 31

Brent is a folk-roots-soul singer-songwriter from Calgary, Alberta. Tyler’s intricate guitar style combined with a soulful presence and dynamic voice contrast his literal seven-foot stature. A voice that bellows the foundation, yet dynamically delicate and sincere, Tyler balances the subtlety of honest and introspective folk music with catchy and powerful hooks and melodies.
