The Downtown Penticton Association is hosting the “Ellis on the Rise Block Party” on May 26, 2017. During this event the street will be closed to traffic and the first annual Ellis Street Chalk Painting Challenge will kick off. This challenge is open to Penticton students and we are offering prizes to the top artists. This event is a fantastic opportunity to show case Penticton’s up and coming artists. Want to participate? Penticton’s Downtown Community Market runs every Saturday morning from May 6 to October 7, 2017 from 8:30am to 2:00pm and spans multiple blocks in the downtown core. The market is the biggest of it’s kind in the Okanagan with hundreds of vendors featuring handmade goods including clothing, food and jewellery, collectables, antiques and furniture, as well as live music and entertainment.
