What began as a way to decrease tagging and graffiti in our core has evolved into a festival that highlights the talent of local and visiting muralists and streets artists. Now, with nearly 30 completed works of art, the festival has provided beauty and colour into once overlooked corners of Penticton.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 23
Morning to dusk: Muralists at Work
All around Downtown Penticton
Artists take to the streets of Penticton to reimagine the alleyways and exterior walls in two competitive categories: mural style and classic street art. Pick up a map from the Downtown Penticton Association office and explore the downtown core as our artists’ creations begin to appear.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24
9am to 5pm: Muralists at Work
All around Downtown Penticton
Our artists take to the streets of Downtown Penticton to finish their creations and judging begins promptly at 5pm. Pick up a map from the ReImagine Tent in Nanaimo Square and explore the streets as our artists complete their projects, all while enjoying the Saturday morning Downtown Community Market, full of artisans, the fruits of fall harvest, fresh baked goods and more. Judging begins at 5pm and the after party, at which our winners will be awarded, will begin at 5:30pm at Cue’s Game Room and Pizzeria at 342 Main Street.
